I thought I'd use it in preference to the large traditional fob, just because of the size, but I haven't used it at all for some reason.

I collected my car yesterday, dealer said most people use the fob and leave the larger keys at home, I am using the fob but it’s a bit scary when your new to this and feel the need to carry they key as well.

I was thinking of using the tag when going to the beach, when hiking or out on my mountain bike etc, after all it's water proof so robust enough to take on the elements, however for normal daily use, I'll be using the normal key fob - especially as I can still open the car/control the locking and unlocking from a distance as my kids sprint to get in the front passenger seat first :-)

I’m going to be honest and say i do not have a clue what you are all on about!?!? 😂
Do you get two sets of keys and two fobs? What’s the difference?

You get two “keys” (I.e not really a key but a keyless key 😂) and a smaller “key” (that’s not a key either).

As you can see from my pic, my smaller key (that isn’t a key) is still in the box.

Hope that helps 🤓

I got four "keys". Two traditional black, full featured fobs, one small waterproof fob, and a fourth red full sized fob that is used somehow when you allow others to use your vehicle.

You did well to get a red one. I thought that was spec'ed out of the FE?

So what’s the difference between the larger and smaller key 🤔?
