Under bonnet insulation.

Just change my T3 auto inscription for B4 auto inscription auto.
My T3 had under bonnet insulation /sound deadening felt, my B4 hasn't.
Is this how they are or has it been left off in build?
Could any B4 drivers have a look under the bonnet and see if has the felt? Thanks.

I know this isn't a B4, (or even a petrol!) but my MY22 B4 AWD Inscription Pro has the felt on the underside of the bonnet lid (assuming that's where you mean) as per this:

My T3 inscription Pro, has no insulation under the bonnet. I am aware that some other modes of the same spec have. So it all seems somewhat random.

My B4 r design fwd does not have under bonnet insulation, perhaps it’s an inscription fit only, the car was ordered in August 21 and delivered in November 21 so I assume it’s a 22 my. I also changed from a T3 r design to the B4 and can’t recall ever seeing insulation on that car either

My T3 momentum pro never came with the insulation. I bought one from the dealers to fit myself. They could not tell me why some cars had it and others didn't.

Nope - a friend has a B4 Front Wheel Drive and that has the under bonnet insulation fitted too - sounds like the ones that haven't have been missed off the built - odd if that is so??

Oh forgot to say - its a B4 R-Design too.

My B4 R design FWD MY22 has insulation under the bonnet. In fact the salesman pointed out that it's made of recycled fishing nets.
