Anyone else had THE TELEPHONE CALL from CbV?
They called me to say that they would not be building my XC40 twin motor MY22. I had two options, switch to a single motor MY22, or cancel the order and reapply for a MY23.
Here’s the deal they offered
They will honour the subscription price on the original order (a Plus)
I ordered an Ultimate, rather than a Plus so a better spec (saving £60pm as they honour the original price)
Mileage allowance of 12,000 rather than 10,000
12 months free insurance
Free home charge point
£250 gift voucher (for the inconvenience)
Delivery mid 2022 (which I was expecting anyway)
The application went through in 1 day as they already had approval on the original order.
So, a great deal if I’m honest. Suits me.
Volvo cancels MY22 twin motor subscription
Hi all,
Just had the same call as Karl from CbV cancelling our P8 order which was made in August.
We were offered a fwd P6 replacement, delivery after Christmas or a reorder of P8 Pro to be delivered in August 2022, car will be then a Recharge Ultimate.
CbV are sending further details, will include pricematch.
Confirmation email says around August - September 2022
