Has anyone removed the one piece boot floor from their XC40? I was hoping that it was a quick release hinge (similar to what I've had in the Sportage) but seems a more permanent fixing.

Yes, it's just clipped in, if you gheck the hinge arrangement, you will see an open end, just pull it out at the right angleπŸ‘

I couldn't see this in mine, and spent a long time checking. The hinge appears to be on a panel dropping down behind the back seat.

Are you referring to the one piece boot floor that lifts up only about 40cm, or the folding one with the bag hooks?

The one piece one, sits on a bit of a flip up plastic prop when you lift it, I'll have look later, and take a couple of pics. (I'm away in the lakes at the moment, so it's full of boots, rucksacks and general rubbishπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚).

Update. Tried this morning and it worked. I managed to remove the floor by lifting slightly and pulling the one piece floor towards me. Thanks again for your help Bernard.

Cool, glad yore sorted, I've been trying to upload the pics all morning, but seems pointless now, so I'll just put some gratuitous frosty lakes pics instead πŸ˜πŸ’šπŸ˜
