As you were one of the “disappointed customers” what is your position now?
I see that your signature says that you placed your order on 16 March. Was this subsequent to your “disappointment? It is the very same date that I placed my order! It looks like we are both on the same boat if this is the case  What documentation do you have?
ZED
I don't have a signature - don't want to jinx anything at this moment. I ordered on 27 January 2018 and then told them I'm not accepting my car on the 21 February as it was not according to spec. Apparently an extended window for "MY19" FE was opened for a week or so after a few complaints. I got a re-ordered vehicle on the 21 February. Delivery date is estimated at 6 June 2018.

Documentation - I have emails, screenshots from the order system, and a full spec/date print out from the order system (I posted these on other threads). I have the original order form (which is not as detailed) that I am hanging my hat on if the order does not match!

One of the last remaining (and intriguing) unanswered questions on the whole board - has anyone with a so called MY19 FE received their V5C yet? How does it describe the model?

I'm in The Lakes with my new car so expect the V5c to be on the doorstep when I get back next week...All my insurance and Volvo details still say First Edition but the Volvo order reference is still R-Design.

You could try putting your reg into https://cartaxcheck.co.uk and using the free car check

That get model info from the DVLA so should match your v5 as below

That's a relief chingf0rd! Your V5C coding is exactly the same as mine except for the D4/T5 difference. That confirms VCUK can "convert" a factory order coded as R-Design to a UK registered First Edition. Should therefore be the same for all those with second window FEs on order.

Forgot to ask, out of interest chingf0rd, what is the 10th character in your VIN?

It's a 'K' - ie. 2019 year ;)

That’s good further confirmation then. As the originator of this thread you can take the “ “ out of the thread title!
