Ok...I thought I'd move this off the 'delivery date' thread, but for anyone who may have OCD (me) with their order and whether their late First Edition is going to materialise as advertised...

The dealer sent me over another screenshot of the order system:

From what I have gathered from Googling the codes (admittedly from Volvo Spanish Diplomatic or US Military Sales lists :? ) I note that the codes for my MY19 "First Edition" (which I reckon will only really be a R-Design Pro spec'd up) are as follows:

000010 - Power Passenger Seat
000011 - Heated front seats
000030 - Sunroof, panoramic
000041 - Luggage net, nylon
000047 - Power driver's seat with memory
000063 - Heated windscreen washer nozzles
000065 - Headlamp washers
000114 - Power child lock
000115 - Power operated tailgate
000132 - Intellisafe Assist, including : Pilot Assist II, Adaptive Crusie control & Distance alert
000139 - Park assist 360 degrees
000165 - Temporary spare wheel and jack kit (will delete repair kit)
000169 - Auto dimmed inner and outer rear view mirrors
000197 - Lava orange floor and door insert (R-Design only and RB00)(not with exterior colours 720 & 725)
000346 - Grocery bag holder with folding floor
000424 - 12v outlet in luggage compartment
000492 - Power folding rear backrest from tailgate opening and power rear headrest
000603 - Intellisafe Surround Includes BLIS – Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Collision Warning
000645 - LED Headlights with active bending lights
000752 - Heated rear seats
000869 - Heated steering wheel
000870 - Park assist pilot
000871 - Heated windscreen
000873 - Gearshift paddles (R-Design only)
000882 - Smartphone Integration and USB Hub (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto)
000896 - Keyless entry (and handsfree tailgate opening)
000918 - Inductive charging for smartphone (front tunnel console)
000920 - Wheels, 20" 5-Double spoke Matt black diamond cut with 245/45 Pirelli tyres (RDesign)(B Class)
001033 - Audio, “Harman Kardon Premium Sound” with Sensus Connect***, 13 speakers, subwoofer, Bluetooth and USB connectivity
001090 - Storage box under driver’s seat

I hope that tallies up with the actual MY18 First Edition and nothing is missing...I'll check my own contract which had the list (without codes) when I get a chance.

Chingford, not an exact science but this seems to stack up well with a spreadsheet I did for myself when comparing spec levels/pricing. The only one which might be missing cf a MY18 FE is LED foglights/with bendiness, but perhaps that also comes under the LED headlights description).

All assuming that the starting point is a core R-Design (not necessarily a Pro as those Pro up specs are included in your spec list).

Well, as I am a fully paid up member of the (semi?) OCD club, although I prefer to just say I am a man of detail .....

.... I attach two pages of the “feature codes” which relate to my actual vehicle. Unhelpfully, these codes are not in alphabetic order!

These codes are all alphanumeric whereas the codes you list Chingf0rd are numeric. I also saw some numeric codes which are called 100% Option codes on the VCUK order system, but these are only a partial list of the full features of each vehicle. Each 100% Option Code has an equivalent Feature Code. So for example - the Headlamp Cleaning System is 00065 and JG02.

So to get the full definitive list of your vehicle features you might need to ask for the longer alphanumeric list.

It certainly seems though that you will be getting a fully specc’d FE equivalent, although as you say it will be an R-Design base plus features - but then that was what the FE was in the first place. Uncertain as to what the V5C might say though!

I am beginning to think this is more a characteristic of a Volvo driver ??

Maybe, but while we must have had around 10 Volvos in years gone by this is our first since circa 2002. Then again perhaps I caught the condition with the first 244 in 1978?

So it looks ok to me. I've asked whether I can add code 000533 - The Four-C adaptive dampers - Dealer said "no". Plus apparently it would shove me past the 40k VED threshold. Ah well.

That would be a one-off car - an FE with 4C. Good try!

I saw on the latest price list LED Foglights with Cornering Function but can't see it in my specs. Would someone with a FE kind enough demonstrate/show me what these cornering lights are as per the manual:

Apparently they come on when you reverse too.

Isn't that just standard LED Fogs?
