Realised that the button near the parking brake wasn’t auto-stop start but automatic hold. Very excited as it was the only thing I miss from my previous car (a GLA) and now it’s not missing ;)

Yes definitely a useful feature!

I found that out AFTER going for a test drive, I couldn't understand why auto stop start was still working even though I had pressed the button :oops:

I switched this off pretty quickly, I just found it annoying that it kept putting the handbrake on many times when it wasn't warranted!

Picked car up yesterday and dealer recommended leaving switched off :)
T5: Crystal White: 1st Edition: 20" Wheels: Lava Orange: Rubber Mats: Tow-bar: Proud owner since early April :D

Same here when I collected today 😀

I hated it when I first got my current car (Skoda Superb L&K) but after 2 yrs I wouldn’t dream of driving any car without it! It’s just so easy and convenient.

I find it very useful APART from when moving very slowly and it kicks in when not wanted (not very often), stays on for now :)
