I was faffing around with the Volvo online site as I noticed they were offering 12 months free insurance, my order is in the pipeline a month before this was in place. What I did notice and made me nearly have a thrombie, was that the same model as mine was advertised at about £60pm less.
Then I saw that this was single motor, not double. Has Volvo dropped the option for double motors?

Volvo has been introducing the single motor option in other markets, so it has now come to the UK. I noticed a few weeks ago that delivery for the twin motor was listed at 10 months. So perhaps they have sold out the model year for the twin and are focusing on the single motor for the moment. Who knows.
The spec actually says 4WD / single motorGreggspies wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:11 am 4 wheel drive = twin motors

Yes it does, sorry. I was thinking of the C40. But it's hard to understand how they will provide 4wd from a single motor. Would need a drive shaft through the tunnel above the battery..
