Poll: Lead times ( from order till delivery)

I must have been lucky with mine. It came from a dealership that also sold 3 other brands, apart from Volvo. From order to delivery 11 weeks..

Did you buy from a Volvo exclusive dealer or a multi-brand one? My understand is that if you buy from a Volvo dealer, those numbers are reliable with just a couple of days of margin.

Yes I bought it from volvo dealership don't know if I can mention name of the dealership? But definitely a dealership so hopefully should arrive before the New Year, counting everyday can't wait to get in it....

Hi The dealership does have outlets that sell numerous other brands. (Helston Garages )
I think that they have numerous vehicles on order that they can adjust to the customers spec.
When my car was first ordered it may have been a completely different spec.
The dealer said there was a time in the order process when the spec is locked and cant be changed. I was lucky enough to spec a car that was already in the system and "unlocked"
I have only ever bought VW/Audi cars for 30years so this is a big change for me. I hope I like it !

est to dealer wed 16/12/20
hopefully collect monday 21/12/20 if all goes well
total about 9 weeks was expecting longer due to present times,so quite impressed with service.

Ordered mine 04/12/20 - Inscription T3 Geartronic, Crystal White pearlescent and added Climate pack. Will let you know when I get a delivery date.

Ordered 1st December, will be picking it up on 29th January. When I ordered it I got estimated pickup date of first or second week of February so I am very happy with the speed.

I ordered 14 December, been quoted last week in march.
