It’s tricky to set up multiple polls to cover all aspects, the poll functionality is very limited. Also I don’t think we fully know how Volvo are now prioritising between first editions and other spec’s. Is it now just date of the order, give or take some optimisation into main spec groups, or are they still just producing FE first. I think it must be the former as don’t forget Ghent are producing cars for the worldwide market and as far as I am aware the FE was unique to the UK.

The poll is merely looking at trends, and should get better as more data comes in. I was thinking that after a certain point (say 31 December ?) then starting a new one for orders made from 1 January 2019 if there was then interest.

FE wasn't unique to the UK. They did exist for Belgium (and to my knowledge also other country's) too, although they are called LE's over here (Launch Edition).

In Switzerland no FE or launch edition.
Only momentum and R-Design at the start, empty specs, normal configuration by adding the options.
The dealers had as a show vehicules a certain number of T5 and D4 with full specs, suspect it was same as your FE. But they could not be ordered as such.
And now basic and inscription have been added at the same time as T4, T3 and C4.

My dealer has been quite accurate in giving me a mid-April delivery back in mid-February when I ordered. Got confirmation that car will be in dealer end of next week. Going to be a few more weeks before I can pick it up though!

Now wondering if there should be separate polls for say orders before and after launch day (22 Feb) or around that time. Might be more helpful as won't be tainted by those "early" orders.
Could keep this one as an overall one?
What does everyone think?

Yes, I think a post launch date poll would be helpful. In effect pre launch was basically FE orders only the way I'm seeing it. I would have placed order on 24th Feb for normal spec R Design but order system was closed until 1st March (excluding FE). FE aside, I feel like I couldn't have got the order in any earlier but still not received a date of any sort.

Just received the bad news from my dealership. I placed my order on the 28th of Feb and was told to expect delivery end of April begining of May. Latest update is my order hasn't been assigned a build slot and delivery is now July at some point!!
Needless to say I'm not happy especially since I've had no communication from the dealership at all since putting down a deposit 😠

Think we could use an extra option in the poll for 'no build date given' - my order still hasn't been accepted by the factory.
