I received an email from Care by Volvo with an update. The app itself does not provide much specific information - just a an estimated month which Volvo admitted was a worst case scenario, so not very accurate. The app takes my order number. Have you ordered a P8 or petrol? It may only work with the P8.

However, I now will have to service and tax my car which I was hoping to avoid. At least my car is privately owned. Good luck with your date.
I have just placed an order and am moving from an Ateca. I have been quoted March which means that the Ateca will require MOT and service if it doesn't arrive by the 7th. I discussed with the salesman who said they wouldn't expect me to have it serviced, I asked him to put this in writing.

That’s interesting. Not sure I will get away with that as the car is saying 15th December for the service and that’s more than a month until the Volvo is due. When is your service due?

I ordered my XC40 end of June, estimated delivery has gone back from early September to end of October and now early December. Looks like the T3's are being pushed back to end the of the line.

My delivery date has been pushed back to 15th December now, so there may be some truth in what you're saying.
At this rate the jolly fat guy in a red suit will be dropping it off LOL

Hi
If there is a restricted supply of T3 they could be using the majority on the recharges and in readiness for introducing the B3 into the uk ( B3 is a 2.0l 4 cyl engine with the same power as the T3 163 bhp)

Was nosing around the Volvo US website. An order for a XC40 Twin Pro (Ultimate in US parlance) placed with a dealer where I used to live would be delivered to the dealer within 10 days of order processing! Trying to figure out how it can be so quick in the US but take 5-10 months in the UK. Maybe they are not as popular - perhaps everybody is going for Telsa and Mach-E. If so, perhaps they should move more over here to where they are in demand...
