Change to stated range of PHEV to 27mph ?
Has anyone noticed Volvo have changed the stated electric range of the XC40 T5 PHEV to 27miles on their website ? I am sure it used to be 34 miles ? Can anyone confirm that it was 34 and better still have any screengrabs or information confirming that it was 34 ? Thanks

Rowls1958, the Volvo website I just looked at said 'up to 28 miles'. When the car was launched, Volvo press releases said provisionally 28 to 28.6 (45 to 46km) which reviewers often rounded to 28 to 29. The official WLTP figure was then announced as 45km (28 miles). I don't believe I have seen any other figures quoted.

Mine says 24 miles set to Hybrid and 27 miles set to Pure. I've found both figures are achievable.

Since purchasing the vehicle in Nov 2023 the electric range fully charged has consistently indicated 27 miles but since Monday 11th Feb 2024 the fully charged range indicator shows 24 miles, Spoke to my local Volvo dealership service dept who stated that the range change could be due to "battery range stabilisation" whatever that is
Our MY21 T5 Recharge has always said 24 by default when starting as it always starts in Hybrid mode, if I switch to pure mode it changes to 27.
I have achieved 25.3 in summer in Pure mode and about 22-23 in hybrid.
It's 12 degrees here today and it did 22.8 miles in Pure mode. This is with 34k miles on the clock.
Be great to have more but it works for us, even with the stupid electricity prices it's still cheaper.
Seems to take between 8.5 and 9KwH to charge.
This was empty to fully charged yesterday at 28 whatever p /Kw for electric
