Can you turn off digital speed readout?

One of my pet hates are digital speedos, I know that the speedo in the XC40 has both and that the digital one can be changed to tourist mode but I wondered if it can be turned off completely.

I don't think so, but black electrician's tape should work a treat. Only a small piece is required, so very eco friendly.

Yes, that'll work. Shame there isn't an option to turn it off though.
