Just done mine successfully from a memory stick. It took 40 minutes to install in the car.

I did a full Europe Map 1333 installation from a 64GB stick the other day. It also took some 40 minutes to fully install, like it did with couple of previous map versions.

Is there any way you can download the updates, to a chrome laptop, or does it have to have a Windows operating system. Thanks.

Only Windows or Mac are supported.

They use some sort of DRM on the files so you are forced to run an application on your laptop which in turn puts the file on the USB key.

Yup, just noticed that this morning. It took exactly 39 minutes to download and update my home region via data sim in the car. Smooth :)

The last north Europe update was USB only and it took two 20 mile journeys to load and install, no issues.

How come no one announced there's a whole new Europe map v. 1340 available these days (apparently since 16th of April)? I though we have a contest - who's gonna announce the last version first :))))))
Just kidding, the home region is already updated OTA and there's an USB with the whole Europe map prepared for tomorrow's ride :)

The NW Europe update V1340 automatically downloaded and installed in my car this morning. It took about 40 minutes, as usual.
