Size of wheels doesn't matter, the rolling radius is the same for the 18,19 and 20's!MrParkson wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 9:12 pm I'm impressed with you lot adding the flaps without removing the rear wheels! I only had access to a regular 'L' shaped torx key or a long length 1/2" drive torx key. Neither very successful, not with 20" wheels at least!
I just think of it as getting to know the car better by removing the wheels haha.
Interesting. What surprises me about that is the fact the tyres on the 20" wheels are by no means 'low profile', I see little benefit in choosing the 19s over the 20s in order to improve ride comfort. Que new debate thread aha.early adopter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:55 pmSize of wheels doesn't matter, the rolling radius is the same for the 18,19 and 20's!MrParkson wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 9:12 pm I'm impressed with you lot adding the flaps without removing the rear wheels! XC40 FE T5 Crystal White 20" LAVA!
Absolutely. 20” wheels are a completely smooth option. No negative ride characteristics at all.
Two XC40s - so far! Inscription Pro T5 AWD Auto - Glacier Silver/Blond/21”, fully loaded, from Jan thro Sep 2021. Polestarred. Also one of the first FEs - a D4 AWD Auto - Bursting Blue/Charcoal/20" from Mar thro Aug 2018. Also Polestarred.

Just go for the styling pack, rear spoiler and 21's while you're at it, lovely
19's a little cheaper come replacement time (tyres) and I did find the 19's a little more comfort orientated and a little quieter too on my test drives. I still prefer the 20's looks wise, however as the car will be doing the mileage for work and after having spine surgery earlier this year, comfort was top followed by costs hence why I went 19's.
Agree, need a separate thread on this
