I was looking through the news today and came across this article on electrification of existing ICE cars.

I'm more than happy with mine and have no intention of trying it, but it did make me wonder if/when it might be a feasible option.
Bearing in mind that the XC40 has been designed to support batteries I wondered how easy it might be.
I get it that it's not going to be plug and play as the whole infotainment/control software isn't there but if you've got an older car it won't have it either.
Maybe you just have a big lever that connects the electric motor to the drive shaft via a belt/pulley system as fitted to my old mobylette moped back in the day.
I think it's safe to assume that it will cost more than the £900 quoted though!
