Trying to find a 3 year service package. Tried the Volvo website but cannot get any details or prices. The links just take me to a 1 year service at my local dealer. Their "in house" 3yr plan is over £900!
I had one for my BMW X3 which was about £400 admit it was 4 years ago.
Anyone found a Volvo plan?

Yes I've got a 3 year plan. Ask your dealer

I got a 3 year Volvo service plan when I purchased my car. Can’t tell you how much as it was part of the deal. They are available though

I bought a 5 year plan with mine. Used it for the first 12 month service, 4 more years to go.

How long have you had the car? The 3 yr (£399) and 5 yr (£599) are generally available on car purchase or up to one month afterwards.

Thats the reason then, car is an ex demo and now 10 month old.
£930 for 3yr is a big jump from £399.
Thanks for the info.

I'm in a similar position to you Bazza, having just bought a demonstrator (2 months 'old'). The selling dealership was 100 miles away so no point in buying a service plan from them.

Not yet contacted my local dealership (different franchise of course).

£930 for 3 years sounds pretty much what you'd pay if you didn't have a service plan.

I suspect the 'cheap' deals others are talking about are part of the sweetener for buying a new car. Little incentive for a dealer to offer you a service plan where you pay less than the walk-in cost.

The Volvo service is great, whether or not you buy a plan.

As I understand it they sometimes even change the oil. Well worth the money.

I still miss the dipstick to confirm it has been done. Just seeing x litres of 0-20w Mobil on the invoice doesn't butter any parsnips for me!

If you have a service plan you don't even get the benefit of an invoice.
