When I visit the Volvo UK website to download the manual for my MY 2020 car, I get the choice of 2020 Early (660 pages) or 2020 Late. (672 pages).
Same Early/Late choice for 2019 and 2021 too.
How do you tell which one is appropriate?
In passing, somewhere else (an Insurance quoting site I think), it said the R-Design T5 date range was 2018 to May 2020.
I can sort of believe that, in that they may have switched from T5 to B5 around June 2020?
The website doesn't have the ability to accept a VIN and display appropriate content.
Anyone know?
P.S.

Model Year confusion: Early or Late?
I bought my car new in September 2019. It's a MY2020 Early.
If you have a smartphone and install the VOC app. If you then download the Volvo Manual app (not the PDF). Then it knows which Volvo version you have from the VOC app and installs the correct version of the manual.
When you have installed the app version of the manual onto your smartphone/tablet there is a link in that manual from which you can download the page numbered PDF version - if you wish.

Did all you suggested and the pdf downloaded was the 2020 Early version. That's for a car registered 20 September 2020. Interesting, and thanks for the tips.

The production changes regularly from early to late at week 46. Every car produced starting from week 16 to week 45 is early, every car starting with week 46 to 15 is late. There is only one exception: The T5 TwinEngine started in October 2019 until week 15 / 2020. After that date the model is called "Recharge T5" (early until week 46 2020)DanishPastry wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 5:25 pm Did all you suggested and the pdf downloaded was the 2020 Early version. Thanks goi; very, very interesting. I had wondered if Late was simple an error-correcting update of Early - obviously not.
The slightly surprising thing is that my car, registered 09/2020 must have been built between April 2019 and November 2019. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised...
