Parking Climate

Have tried the Parking Climate on the VOC app several times, but just keep getting “encountered error”. Am I missing something here.

I think it's only available on automatics. Does nothing on my manual either.
XC40 Bright Silver T3 Momentum pro with just about every option plus mud flaps and sunglasses holder.

For my T3 automatic, Parking Climate shows the temperature at the car. It also allows me to set up timers - but then tells me that "Parking Climate encountered an issue..." I think this is an optional extra - which I presumably don't have.

I think the Parking Climate is for cooling and only works when temperature is above 20C. This is unless a parking heater is installed which would heat from low temps. However, parking heaters aren't installed in UK cars. I did a quick google but couldn't find any definitive info for the UK market. Next time it goes above 20C then I'll try this but it could be a while!!

I thought you needed to remote start the car first and then you can start the parking climate or if PHEV it could also be plugged in.
