Ask for numberplate if ordering towbar

Just a heads up that some dealers (mine ) don't automatically include extra rear number plate, even if you have dropped > £1k on a towbar.

I know nobody gives a flying fox over the cost of a plate but, given the tedious requirements for obtaining extra plates, it's very very sad that you may not get one unless you ask.

Anyhoos, it's ta ra from me as, as much as my XC40 has been absolutely brilliant, I'm now looking forward to being able to enjoy some decent in-car audio

When I ordered mine..I did ask cheekily when they are printing the number plates could they do an extra rear one...and they did!

Yup, same for me. I only asked as a little P.S. on an email - shocked to find I wouldn't have got if I hadn't asked, should be industry standard.

Petty penny-pinching. If you don't know it should be the norm, you should be flipping burgers (or selling Dacias).

I didn't ask and I got one from my Volvo dealer.
With my previous car, an Audi, I didn't, but again, I didn't ask.
