I updated my maps this morning via the sim. I suspect it took 10 mins max..I was pleased how quickly the %complete number was increasing. It seems to be taking longer configuring itself though

Hi Skyrimmer I just have NW Europe update. I have a Three personal SIM in the car but PAYG with only 200 MB free, I doubt this could have been enough. Too late to check phone data use over the updating period as I am now in a new data usage period.

I recommend the 24gb 3 data only sim. Lasts 2 years and makes software and map downloads so much quicker and easier.
