Hi. My D3 Auto returns 50 mpg on longer runs - 50-to-100 mile trips. What kind of real-world mpg do others get from D3 and other engines?
Thanks for sharing.

Hi
Today I travelled home from west Cornwall.

355 miles in 6 1/4 hours of motorway driving (excluding stops) and achieved 39.5 mpg.

I usually manage about 32 mpg in real world driving on a mixture of town roads, country lanes and dual carriageways.

I normally use the eco setting.

I’m quite pleased with that for a T5 petrol

I’ve had mine for just over 2 weeks and getting 52-55mpg on most long journeys(50-80miles). I’ve done 1300 miles so far. Trip computer says 47.8mpg overall but has spent some time back at the dealers due to a headlight and app faults, in which time they had the car running without moving.
Kept my receipts from filling up etc and using websites I’ve worked out I’m getting around 48.7mpg overall including smaller trips to town.
Also been getting around 530 miles per tank, filling up when the light comes on and most times could only get 48-50 litres in so probably another 30 miles before I’d run out.
Working out better than I’d hoped for so well chuffed!

Just been from Ipswich to Isle of Wight. Journey there computer said 62.6 mpg, return 60.2. Overall, in 2 years, computer says 50.9 over 12.5K miles. I'm pleased with that.

Picked up last Tuesday, hope fully will improve slightly for solo use, with more miles on it. Had a 163hp Kuga auto before, that struggled to hit 40 mpg, so driving solo should be slightly better.
However when I get the caravan on the back, next week, I'm expecting it to get a bit messy 😭😭😭

Bout' what I expected, dragging an extra 1500 kilos around, plus a fully loaded car, isn't easy after all ;) ;)

My D3 can achieve 55 mpg on long journeys , has returned from new March 2019) 42.8 mpg.
The fuel consumption really plummets when driving hard.
