I’ve had a price for the part and it’s just shy of £280!!

Think I will manage without one then! It's not about the money, it's about wanting to feel I'm getting some sort of value for my money. This doesn't.

I've had my T4 for almost 12 months. It has the standard flat floor.
At no point in the last 12 months have I ever thought "Mmm, I really need a folding floor..."

The XC40 has been around a couple of years now so it may be worth searching the aftermarket suppliers for something similar at a significantly lower price. I have the folding floor as part of a pack but as there is a boot liner and dog crate on top of it most of the time I've never used it.

I had a flexible boot floor in my V40, cost £100 in 2016, because I was told it was necessary if one had the spare wheel. Can’t say I ever found it useful myself. You have to move anything stored on it before folding it - and what then? My XC40 has a rigid floor which I can partially lift to rummage for items stored underneath.
