I know this is an old thread but do these protectors help at all with the over sensitivity of the touch screen?

Personally I wouldn't see any advantage in using a screen protector. The glass is very hard and fit for purpose.

It’s not about the hardness

It’s about not getting finger prints all over the screen

I just give mine a wipe occasionally with a microfibre cloth. Necessary anyway as the piano black trim suffers from fingerprints and dust.
