In central display under Settings, Active Main Beam can be set to slow, normal or fast. Does anyone know what this setting actually does? If set to Slow, does it mean main beam will turn OFF slower / later when encountering traffic?

User manual does not mention this settings, but states main beam will turn back on after 1 sec, hence my assumption that slow, normal or fast setting is for main beam turning off, not on.

“Active main beam is a function which uses a camera sensor at the top edge of the wind- screen to detect the headlamp beams from oncoming traffic or the rear lights of vehicles in front, and then switches from main beam to dipped beam. The function can start while driving in the dark when the car's speed is approx. 20 km/h (approx. 12 mph) or higher. The function can also take streetlights into account. When the camera sensor no longer detects any oncom- ing car or car in front, main beam is switched on again after about a second.”

After testing the slow and fast settings in night driving conditions, it’s clear now that “Slow“ sets the main beam to turn off early when encountering traffic and turn back on late after passing traffic. “Fast” sets the main beam to turn off late when encountering traffic and turn back on quickly after passing traffic.

Good to know. I don't do much night driving so don't currently have this switched on.
