I think it needs one with that sort of mpg 😀.

Although mine is a smaller engine in the T4. My service due in 5 months.

I managed to book a service for 12th June with Holden Volvo in Norwich. They seemed confident they would be open again by then. I had phoned up with a query about recalls, none of which applied to my car, so took the opportunity to book a service at the same time before the rush to clear the backlog.

Waterhouse Chelmsford did my service including collecting and returning car this Monday. It was already booked in prior to lockdown and they have a waiting list for new services.

Lucky you, Skyrimmer. I’m waiting for a call from Holdens to get the internet connection and SIM card software working. I collected the car in mid-February and after some initial failed attempts they were advised by Volvo to do a full software re-boot. I then ran into the busy March new registration pressures with no appointments for two weeks and then the lockdown. Even though I can make little use of the car until the Government restrictions ease, it would be good to have a fully operational vehicle! Dealers have clearly interpreted the lockdown requirements in different ways.

Hey there.
My initial post wasn’t so much about trying to actually get a service appointment but more about my actual mileage. The 18,000 mile or 1 year is fast approaching. It looks like my car might get a service with it barely completing running in mileage!!

Considering mines an RDesign T4 but then it's AWD I think I'm doing very well at 38.1mpg.

I don't have any extras, perhaps it's the weight of all the headlamp washers, front sensors and 360 cameras 😀 or the white paint on both your cars. White paint mid 20mpg, Thunder Grey 38mpg !!
