Mine came with PZero's; 2 years in and 14k miles, i'm down to 5mm on all front, and 5mm on rear outside and inside, with 6mm rear middle for some reason.
Can't complain at all! I'll probably try CrossClimate when i need to change, but if unhappy i'll know to revert to PZero

Has anybody with the P8 had any experience with Recharge all season tires? Apparently they are now standard on the BEV for central and northern Europe, but not for the UK. I think they would make sense up here in Scotland, but when I asked Care by Volvo about it, they just said it was not an option.

The Recharge all season tire is Michelin Cross Climate 2. Currently, there are couple of tests for CC2, but not in XC40 tire sizes and on lighter cars. Every test points better performance than the previous CC, but in temperatures above 5C a good quality summer tire will always outperform CC2. In fact, CC2 could be a better winter tire alternative for mild winter conditions than a pure winter tire. Check this comprehensive test and video: https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/202 ... e-Test.htm

Interesting. But according to the Michelin website this tire is not available in the required dimensions for 20" tires - appears to be available for 19".

For XC40 the new CrossClimate 2 is available for 18” and 19” wheels, 235/55 R18 104H XL VOL and 235/50R19 103V XL VOL

Can someone tell the noise level difference between crossclimates and factory fitted pirelli/Michelin?

Looking for the change as pzeros can’t handle the front 5 degrees C and lower even on a dry. They really work good when it’s 30, but autumn time isn’t their strong side.

CC2 tested on 205/55 R16 size was 0.3 dB noisier than the reference summer tire. The CC2 test closest to Volvo’s tire size was on 215/65 R17, but summer tire in the test is not named and CC2 is 0.2 dB noisier https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/202 ... e-Test.htm
