Looks great! Nice to see it when it arrives. Hope mine looks the same when it is delivered in a few weeks time.

pjm007, did you find out what your actual build date was? Interested to see how long it then takes to get the car from Ghent to arriving at a UK dealer.

I bet tomorrow afternoon can't come round quickly enough?!

Yes I believe that although the “build date (week)” was said to be 1805, the “Actual factory complete date” was 28/2, and the UK port arrival date was 3/3.

Excitement building for tomorrow!

Thanks - that's really helpful. The 28th makes it sound like a really long time but then it was short month February - Phew - And we had all that snow stuff. My dealer suggested it was about 10 days (give or take) from build end to handover which seems spot(ish) on given your experience. I think I am about three weeks to go. Fingers crossed.

I am sure a late night for you once you've made your way through all the owners manual/set up etc.

I think I may be spending the first several hours connecting things together - iPhone, my Apple Watch, Volvo On Call, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Audible for books etc etc.

Haha - I've already had to promise my wife that I won't tweak things as I make that first drive home (so as not to be distracted). I was already "at it" during the test drive.

Range is important to me as I’ve got used to 500-600 miles with diesels.....electric cars like I-Pace Jaguar will have greater range than a T5.....needs a bigger fuel tank.
Not any noticeable turbo lag.....performance very effortless, agree that the gearbox probably accounts for the improvement. Biggest problem to a quick getaway from standing is the start/stop function. Quicker than some I’ve driven, but still a delay to quick progress. In comfort mode it doesn’t seem possible to program it out of the profile. Believe you can in Dynamic mode but haven’t tried that. Would like Comfort mode with no start/stop. Considering that it isn’t supposed to be a “sports car”, it has very adequate performance.
