20" Wheels

I know there's the supposed supply problem with the above wheels for FE models. My order has been stated it will be 19's.

However, I see on the configurator, the R-design pro comes with the 20" wheels as standard and also shows the headlamp washers.

Are Volvo just rushing out FE models without these extras? I'm not as emotionally charged as I would be if buying but I love the 20" wheels and just seems odd that they are not available on the FE's but you can spec them on others?

Yes sounds to me like a short term supply issue and may well only apply to the later deliveries of FEs. My guess is that every single dealer showroom and demo car was ordered with the “free” 20” wheel option and that meant demand outstripped supply when most customers also chose the free option.

I wonder if there's an option to wait or you have the slot you have and that's all you can get.

My car is due 24th April but I'd happily wait a bit for the 20's. I'm going in for a test drive on Saturday so will ask the question then

Do what I did - tell them you'd refuse the car unless they honour my signed contract on spec. They are getting me a MY19 "First Edition" with the wheels and the washers.

I test drove a D4 with 20" wheels today - it was very very good.

Ahh thanks.
I ordered the weekend of the launch but can’t get headlamp washers.
Anyone know if they can be retrofitted?

My local dealer had an FE T5 in the showroom with the 19's and I have to say, didn't look that bad, not as good of course as the 20's, but still not bad all the same.

The 20s were all gone before I placed mine sadly. So I knew what the position was. However I do find it annoying/bad that you can still get them on other specs.

I do like the 19s as I was getting them in th xc60 rdesign I originally ordered but the 20s are bloody lovely.

Just think your car will be a fraction more economical and a tiny bit faster with the 19's

I've got the 19's more for comfort to be fair.
