Hi all,
Just picked up our xc40 today and when I got home I realised we had no power folding rear seats??? I was sure this was part of the convenience pack we paid for?
After some research on the volvo site power folding seats are no longer available on 2020 models??
Have I got a valid complaint here, or was I wrong to assume they would be included?

I believe, just like the no longer perforated r-design key, removed for 2020. Should have powerfold headrests though.

Well, you could complain but if push comes to shove, I’m sure Volvo would draw your attention to the small print which would state that specs can be changed without prior notice at anytime. I got my MY20 in late October. The power fold seats weren’t fitted either.
R Design Pro T5 AWD in Crystal White. Convenience Pack, Front Parking and Apple Car. Couldn’t afford anything else!! Arriving late September 2019.
I have just picked up my piece last week and realised that the power rear seats are not there as well. Was sure it was going to be fitted but no luck. Funny enough, it is still on the webpage.

imho the power folding of the rear seats is the most "because we can" addition to cars recently. I had it, now I don't, and I miss it as much as I miss Mrs Brown's Boys on a Saturday night.
However I understand anybody that's a bit miffed because they feel they've paid for a deleted function - I just put it down to Volvo clawing a little back on the fall of GBP vs EUR, or something.

Yeah, its fair enough to say "I'm a bit miffed".
How can it possibly be right to sit down at a dealers in August, to agree to buy a pack that involves power folding rear seats, pay for it, then pick the car up and find it doesn't have it?
The more I think about it, the more quite frankly it fucking stinks.
Ive noticed Volvo has now updated its website and the convenience pack (new name now whatever it is) doesn't include it, but it did when I agreed to pay £650 for it.
Out of order, give them a ring tomorrow.

T4 Auto R design in Onyx black, 19" alloys, winter pack and convenience pack, front parking sensors.
To be fair, you got other bits and pieces for your £650 (unless you don't use any of them?) and they added the net (I think) which some might find handier than buttons in the boot that only collapse the rear seats.
As I said I really really don't miss the function, and I had it in the car I swapped out, but YMMV.
