I was wondering who else is thinking about going electric?
The big launch for the all electric will be tomorrow 16 October
I was thinking about the hybrid, but am a little put off by it being FWD as opposed to AWD.
Should I be concerned?
I tend to travel to England from Scotland quite often, and am concerned over having to stop periodically to charge up given the limited range of the all electric.
The converse is of the hybrid which is supposed to be very economical, however FWD concerns are still there.
Has anybody had experience of FWD in the snow?
I would be very interested in your views.
All the best,
ZED

FWD is usually good in snow. The engine weight on the driving wheels usually gives adequate traction. I've been driving FWD cars for over 40 years and never had a problem in snow. The only time I've been stuck was driving R(ear)WD cars which have far less weight pushing down on the driven wheels.
