I’ve enjoyed the ambient lighting in my X1 which are strips along all doors and on the front console. They look awesome but I only have a choice of two colours. Red or white.
However, it’s an awesome addition. Now I’m disappointed again with a car I’ve not even picked up yet (three weeks and counting). First world problems I know but still....!
How are you liking it it other than this?

Bionic, there's more ambient lighting than just the purple pimples, or blue pimples in my case at the moment.
There's also subtle lighting in the doors along the strips in the doors and round the door handles, the strip along the passenger side dash, the footwells and the exterior puddle lights. These are dimmable but just one colour.
Assuming your MY21 hasn't had these features removed

Oh almost forgot the Orefors crystal gear knob which glows purple in the Inscription

I’ve seen pics of the crystal lit up but not in the flesh yet. It looks great.
Yeah, fingers crossed there’s more deleted from MY21

Wot he said ^ it's fine, just joking. Came slightly earlier than originally promised but correct on revised time around a week after (re)ordering. I'm very happy with the car which is a MY21, not missing the exhaust holes, would have liked the "inscription" branding but it's not an issue. I'm sure you'll love yours too

Where the charging pad is there's a little clip to hold your USB cable out of the way.
