Hiya,
Anyone any ideas on how to remove a scuff from my rear bumper?
Some nice person in Sainsbury’s car park gave me a Bank Holiday present!

Looks like a smart repair is required. We had a Golf with a damaged plastic insert. Instead of replacing it, it would seem they must have remoulded it somehow with some sort of heated roller type thing. I try never to park in supermarket car parks. My wife thinks I’m an idiot but I’d rather park in a side street and carry the bags to the car.

I damaged mine not long for I took delivery, had 2 companies out who do cosmetic repairs both admitted it would not be an invisible repair and advised I get a new bumper on such a new car. I had a voucher from volvo which covered most of the excess which I was able to use so actually only cost me £50 for a new genuine volvo bumper. Hope that helps.

@Michaelxc40... Could you let me know how much it was before your vouchers please as I’m considering a new bumper as an option... 😳

That looks like it would easily be buffed out to me.

I’d try an Autoglym Magic Sponge. I’ve had good success with them in the past.
