I also understand any new order from now is deemed to be a 2019 model year order. That is consistent with the price list doc which classes FEs as MY 2018 and all other versions as MY 2019. It looks like they haven’t yet sorted out their website configurator to align with that.
Two XC40s - so far! Inscription Pro T5 AWD Auto - Glacier Silver/Blond/21”, fully loaded, from Jan thro Sep 2021. Polestarred. :) Also one of the first FEs - a D4 AWD Auto - Bursting Blue/Charcoal/20" from Mar thro Aug 2018. Also Polestarred. :o

I totally expect a new pricelist (Edition 5?) to be issued tomorrow (or at latest in the next few days), with that new version stripping out any reference to the First Edition and so any "confusion" for NEW buyers. This would be completely in line with my past XC90 special edition fiasco. Simply you've got to be in early on these specials/first editions as Volvo just aren't good at managing expectations towards the end of the run.

What happened to the £350 “goodwill” mentioned in the memo yesterday?
I think they mean no additional goodwill - it's 350 quid off or nothing.

Really not sure that Grimsby Volvo will deliver - just spoke again this morning and no confirmation that my order for a T5 FE has been accepted by the manufacturer yet, so all very unsettling.
Crystal White/Charcoal T5 MY19 FE 19" alloys (my choice!) with confirmed headlamp washers - delivery in June - ordered mid-February via broker

But think of all the activity on this forum shortly after people leave the launch events and we compare notes, explanations given, etc
