I hate to say it, but it would seem something’s wrong. I ordered the day after, similar spec (both Inscription Pro), had a build date back in July I think, and have had it for two weeks.

The car’s worth the wait, but something’s gone awry with your order, and I think your broker’s let you down.

I am chasing them, but I suspect you may well be correct. I will keep the forum up to date as and when I get answers.

Hi Tom I am in exactly the same situation as you same model same broker and some what annoyed as I have had to pay out for repairs on my current v70 t5 which I would not have had to if car har arrived on schedule.
I have had an in depth discussion with one on the directors and see whats going on
Volvo are only allowing a dealer to order between 5 and 20 cars off their outstanding orders a month which is probably ok for a Volvo dealer not discounting as they are getting less orders than a discounting one so their orders are going through faster hence the earlier delivery. I have been assured that the brokers May orders are now very near the top of the order list so hopefully early in the new year we should see our cars (fingers crossed)
I also suspect but obviously cant prove that Volvo have sussed which dealers are supplying discounters and are in no hurry to rush through their orders as they can let their non discounting dealers make more profit and look good. what makes me think this that my original car ordered in April had to be reordered as Volvo had cancelled all orders from a discounting dealer.

Did you and Celticxc60 order heated seats or heated windscreen ?
As I said, one of the two can create 2-3 months delay, that's what I have been said when I ordered mine !
T3 Momentum Aluminium grey + blond interior.
Order date : June 1st 2018.
Delivery Date : (around) February 10th 2019.

Hi aj05 - My situation is an exact mirror image of yours including the conversations. Very frustrating. Luckily I have access to a second car and we will manage until the XC40 arrives.

The Inscription Pro comes with those items, so that may also be a factor. More likely the delays are coming from Volvo UK.

They did say they have had delivery of 25+ first Editions ordered in March so things do appear to be moving if slowly, seems to be about an 8 ish month wait so hopefully January may be our delivery slot

I am from Belgium, but it doesn't change anything from the production or delay :(
More than 8 months, luckily I am a very calm person :D

The last update I got was 3 weeks ago, I will call in 2 weeks to get a new update, but it looks like the date won't change a lot from now...
