Just flagging this up for the record really - journalistically it's a non-event. Poorly written and with little non-obvious content**, there's not even any attempt to assess what the performance benefits might be, eg no 30-70mph or 80-120km/h times (which seems a more widely quoted stat for mid-range acceleration these days), just a quote presumably from the Polestar literature for the 0-62 time.
** Edit: Perhaps that's slightly harsh. There are 2 or 3 sentences on driving feel with P* active (ie Dynamic mode) - which is welcome information, but not too much more., eg there's no mention that I can spot of a change to the engine map, which surely there must be to increase torque from 350 to 400Nm.

I find the most annoying thing about that article is the fact that their use of library pictures has created a vehicle that does not exist.
Some people might be slightly disappointed when they try to order an R-Design with a nice light full leather interior.
Personally, if it was an option, I would have gone for it.
