Weird dash button hole

What does everyone else have on the dash buttons? I have this double sized button on the right that looks like either a filler or a sim card holder? So odd.. No idea why its there as frankly, the hazard button should be drivers side in the uk - bet its just over there for LHD cars and they cba to move it :roll:

Not a button but a sensor for the aircon climate control.

As said above, it's the cabin temperature sensor.
