XC40 Sales in UK

I've now driven 5K+ miles in my XC40 and I've only ever seen one other XC40 on the road! Is there still a delivery problem now more than 12 months after its launch here? How many have been sold in UK?

They seem to be popping up everywhere near me.

I saw 2 in the space of 10 minutes the other day. And I've seen at least 4 different XC40s use the car park outside my office in the last few weeks.

Someone parked their Pine Grey R-Design on a 68 plate a couple of car widths apart from mine on Friday and it was still there when I came to work today...

Saw my first one yesterday but it was a FE that he had had for a year as he got it within two weeks of ordering. Some people are born lucky!

According to DVLA up to end 3Q 2018 there were 6271 XC40s registered in the UK. Most common was D4 First Edition, least common was D3 R-design Pro (just 7 cars)
D4 R-design in black.

Where do you work Matt? Mine has an R-Design logo on the boot because after some repairs and respray, they put the wrong badge on the back. I need to get it sorted, but just haven’t found time.

My office is at Gatwick Airport.

Come to think of it I've seen at least one more in one of the staff car parks as well.

Traffic can be a nightmare sometimes though... :D

Ahh I've just realised what you meant now. Yes it must be an Osmium Grey R-Design not Pine Grey!

It's definitely an R-Design as it has black roof, tinted windows and the 19" R-Design alloys.

Looks like I'm in the one of the 7 least common. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing ;)

Of course that's just to end September 2018.
There were 2256 D4 first edition and 1607 T5 first edition.
