MY20
Hi, has anyone got a full spec list as I am a little worried now that MY20 is very different to what I have ordered. I specced a winter pack, convenience pack, tinted windows, spare wheel and WiFi wireless charging but have been told the only change is that’s Pine Grey is no longer an option and the bhp has increased slightly-that’s it - no mention of metallic paint being taken off?? Where can I find this?

If you scroll back 2 pages Goldfish has helpfully done a screen shot of new specs and price list.
However I have a very different view of price increases which average £1,000.
My order for a R Design AWD D4 has increased by £1,005 with virtually no change in spec.
An R Design Pro T4 AWD has increased by £1,035. The £10 cheaper figure comes by comparing the old price for a T4 AWD (there was no FWD) against the current price for a T4 FWD which isn't like for like.
This is why I am concerned that my dealer honours the original price even if delivery is delayed.

Salmon fisher,
I used the same car for the comparison not FWD Vs AWD although it is £1400 cheaper.
The old price list I have is MY19 ed 4. A D4 AWD auto r design was 35870 while the new list is 36355. For T4 R design pro is 36985 v 36520. Both around 500 more not 1000. New R design has the paddle shifters as standard. The new convenience pack is better value including tailgate & keyless.
I have checked the calculations several times, did wonder if I have got it wrong. Please double check. Apologize in advance if I have made mistakes.

Without wishing to cause any offence to anyone......I believe the truth is to be found, where it can usually be found, somewhere in the middle.Salmonfisher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 10:38 pm An R Design Pro T4 AWD has increased by £1,035. I believe that you've made an error within your calculations.
My £840 increase is one of the worst case scenarios, due to the new metallic paint charge for the Inscription models.....I believe that the R Design increase is approximately half of what you're quoting. I suspect this maybe due to subsequent price lists moving the P11D & OTR columns around - please recheck your figures to make sure you're comparing like with like.
In any event, car manufacturers pretty much always honour their contract prices - the problems usually only occur if you change spec after a price rise.
Edited due to explanation above
2nd edit: My increase would also be around £500 had I previously opted for keyless (not until hell freezes over )

No you are right. I was reading the P11D column not the OTR!!!! My apologies.
I didn't go for convenience pack or paddles (I have them on my Tiguan and have used them twice in 45,000 miles) so didn't price these in. So its £500 not £1,000.
Glad we are in agreement at last.

Incidentally, anyone ever had a definitive explanation from their dealer on how they would handle changes to bundled options when it comes to quoting list price on registration form? The closest I've ever got is a wink & a "Don't worry, we'll look after you".
They couldn't go too far & risk prosecution but, in my example, it's tough luck that prices have gone up & I metallic paint is chargeable (I'll still pay the same & have left enough margin not to hit £40k) but, the convenience pack has increased by £100 but now includes keyless entry (previously £350). Can they reduce list price by £350 or only £100 (or even not at all)?
The government have issued quite hazy guidance which is why I (& many others) have had to leave a good margin & forego some options they would have liked.

Carl,
I think you should be ok. You were confirmed the bright silver colour which is not MY20 spec hence your convenience pack will be MY19 spec w/o the power tailgate and keyless.
If the factory upgrade you to MY20 then you will have to pick a different colour and delay delivery.

Thanks. Yeah, sorry, my post wasn't very clear.Goldfish wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 12:46 am Carl,

I'm pretty much certain I'm getting MY19 - my concern is over the list price at delivery. I'm OK for the £40k threshold (just). I was only thinking out loud how easily I could have been caught by the luxury V.E.D.
(P.S: Power tailgate was already included for the Inscription}
