Got my car last week, love it.
In my last car (V40) I could fit the service log/manual, two bottles of water, sunglasses, vape case, cloths, wipes, tissues, pens.
In the XC40 I'm lucky to get a small bottle of water and a single packet of travel/pocket size tissues (plus a pen in the holder) with the log/manual in the boot. If I left the log/manual in the glovebox, that's about all it will fit.
I get that the door pockets are pretty big but I hate stuff sitting out. Plus they aren't cooled.
It's effectively useless!

Thought there was a separate space at top for manual?
Have you ducked down so you can see it? Noticed a lot of reviewers miss it.
