I took delivery of the car this week, what a great car.
XC40 T5 R-Design Auto AWD. Fully loaded except for Sunroof and Harman Kardon Premium Sound
In New Zealand our cars come with high specifications (fully loaded car), only options were Sunroof or Harman Kardon Premium Sound.

Just want to give a big thank you to all the people on this forum!!!

This is the best colour/angle for thunder grey under NZ sun.

It's certainly a colour that looks better in the sun than the showroom
XC40 T5 R-Design Pro in Bursting Blue with Convenience, Intellisafe Pro, Winter Plus and Xenium Packs and a few other bits. Ordered July'19 picked up end of Nov'19.

Yes looks brighter in the sunshine but darker in the show room and in the shade.
The first photo is pretty close to the right colour for outside in the sunshine.

Photos really don’t do Thunder Grey any justice.
The colour changes dramatically dependent on the light conditions - a quite vivid blue to a stormy grey, happy my wife chose that colour!
