Volvo XC40 Forums

Hi, Just picked up my XC40 today and love it. Does anybody know how to deactivate the above function if you are using an automatic car wash.? I see Volvo does not recommend using one for three months anyway but just for the future. Haven't been able to spot it in the manual, it just says it could be activated if the key is within a metre, which would probably be the case if you were sitting in the driver's seat.

I've managed to 'open' the boot when connecting eletrics to tow bar and been hit by it! I've not activated it while washing it, but my hubby has..... thankfully not in a carwash and far enough from wall that it didn't hit it .
