Just shy 1-month with the new XC40 Inscription, fully loaded...

Still getting used to Volvo, have had 6 BMW's but was looking for a smaller SUV and figured why not???

All good, but wish the steering were tighter, all told love the tech, which takes time to get used to...

Just got back from a 200 mile trip, mostly highway and averaged, near 31mpg..

Anyone else disappointed in the "loose" steering???

I've got the first edition r design T5 and find the steering nicely weighted.

Have you tried playing with the driving modes and changing the steering dynamics to tighten it up a bit?
XC40 T5 FE - Bursting with blue and now with some extra blue - Polestar :D

In individual mode set the steering to high and it’s a bit better but when slowing down from 15mph to a stop it’s still a bit loose

Guess it’s the result of 6 Bmers over the last 20 yrs

Perhaps they will make new updates as they get more feedback
