I got my new Inscription T3 in Pebble Grey with a some options on Tuesday. Looking good so far apart from not realising that Android Auto is not really available. I got Volvo On Call connected but I am slightly confused about what the P-SIM and Modem is all about. I will be checking the Forum to see if there is any help there.

Android auto is perfectly available. It depends whether you asked for it to be installed in the car. It can be retrofitted by a dealer though.
The psim provides internet connectivity to the optional items like the apps installed, receiving traffic information and for downloading map updates over the air.. And many many more functions though none are essential. Plenty of information about the questions you have raised enjoy the read and your new car.
