Hi,

I've just ordered a new XC40 Recharge Impression T5 (B3154T5) with all options for my wife: We originally are driving Lexus hybrid vehicles, but the lack of Lexus delivering a PHEV brought us here.

My wife's normal daily turn will include a less-than-30km roundtrip and i am eager to see how the pure electric mode will work.
I already understood, that the technical solution in comparison to Lexus/Toyota with their planetoid-gearbox is fairly complex, having a DCT which permanently connects the gears R-2-4-6 with the electric motor.

Some users reported here some issues while needing power, that they have serious issues with the delay. Normally the gearbox should switch within less than 0.2 seconds but it seems synchronisation with the e-drive side takes longer that expected.

Other issues i catched up in this forum and I have to take care about are:

- issues with the roof / water gurgling
- issues with the start/stop button
- some minor software issues

anything else I need to be aware of?

I will report about my experience.

regards
