Thanks I came here looking for something like this. I have a specific question. How much does the FWD affect single pedal driving? Presumably regen braking can’t do it all if it’s only on the front wheels. I’m about to switch from an AWD Mitsubishi.

That’s a very good question, unfortunately I don’t know the answer. Try asking Bjorn directly in the film comments on YouTube, he tested both AWD and FWD versions, he’ll know for sure.

I don't see why just driving the front wheels would affect the ability to brake regeneratively. You're basically just applying a load against the wheel rotation, rather than applying drive to create wheel rotation. Yes it will be front biased, but then regenerative braking on many ICE vehicles is front biased. It should slow the car to a stop, in normal circumstances.
