ESC faulty

Has anyone else experienced a faulty ESC? I’ve had my ESC service light come on three times since I’ve owned the car. Supposedly this is not meant to happen and is a critical aspect of the car’s safety. Be curious to know.

See my comments in faults 'Warning light SS airbag and ESC warning orange'. Needed a new brake sensor to be replaced after 2 weeks of dealer head scratching and linking my car up to Volvo Europe support labs!

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve had a loaner XV40 for five days now. The dealer is awaiting instructions from HQ. The other problem is that the car also has a water leak. It’s so frustrating. My xC40 is less than a year old and has had more visits to dealer than my previous car (Mini) which lasted for 10 years.... hmm
