Coming home lights

Hi all
Have got the coming home lights to stay on for 30 seconds after locking the car but they don’t seem to come on ... any ideas ???

Did you move the left hand stalk switch forward?

Noooo lol guess I should try and read the manual a bit better it’s so much easier when you used to get a book to read about your car find it confusing trying to access relevant areas with the manual all digital . Thanks for the info I’ll try it tonight ....

Does this have to be done everytime ?

The same text is found in Section 2 of the Quick Guide booklet.

Unfortunately it does which makes no sense to me at all. The option should be either enabled at all times or disabled at all times. Why would anyone want to manually enable the feature each time manually - not well thought out if you ask me.

I agree with my previous Q5 this system was on all the time was much simpler

Makes sense to me. It depends on the conditions, location, surroundings etc. whether you may want to use it. A quick flick (or not) and your done. Easy.

I would have to say it makes sense aswell, probably 95% of the time when I park my car at night the area is usually lit, be it a car park or my driveway. My previous S3 lights were activated all the time, and other than it looking cool it wasn't really necessary. Appreciate it could be a touch more annoying if regularly using unlit areas though!
