I live in a crazy country with regards to cars, in Denmark you can also get a base version of the XC 40, the cost for this is 49.000GBP—the base version have nearly no equipment… so if you Brits feel that you get ripped off, go to Volvo DK site and try to configure a XC40 😊

Kind regards Morten
I have just tried to spec up my xc40 on the Volvo DK website and I'm still in a state of shock - nearly 100,000 GBP!! How does anybody afford a car in Denmark?

You get use to it, and the cars here are smaller and older.

But the taxes was reduced 6 months ago, now it is only 150% it used to be 180%. On the expensive cars.

We do have many benefits but pay a lot for all things, at least the alcohol is not so expensive as Sweden and Norway:-)
