Clutch issue?

Interested to hear if anyone has came across this issue before I book out car in....
Occasionally on releasing the clutch, the clutch engages but the pedal is slow to return to its normal position. Doesn't affect gear change but feels odd, almost as if trying to self adjust? Next press of clutch its back to normal?
